I’ve been working as an architect and taking part in building the physical environment for over ten years. I recently decided to switch to UX design and apply my skills to the digital world as well.

Architecture and UX design are both about designing for people, and creating experiences. The medium and result are different but the design process is quite similar.

The skills I’ve gained from my previous experience as an architect are extremely relevant and applicable to UX design. From understanding the user needs and desires and translating them into a reality, to the visual and aesthetics of it, the functionality and user flow, as well as the project and time management.

Originally from Belgium, I’ve also lived in Italy, Switzerland and am now located in Israel. These different locations and cultures have brought me so much and helped me grow. They’ve also helped me understand how, even in a very global and connected world, cultural and local differences are still extremely relevant and important. When designing, they have to be taken into account and will impact one’s experience.
I am curious and eager to keep learning. I love to travel and discover new horizons, and spend some quality time with my family.

I hope to be able to be part of exciting projects, and create new exciting and delightful experiences for people in the future.
